Welcome to Land Economics!
I want you to have a good learning experience and I am glad to have you in my class!
This course includes the economic, institutional and physical factors involved in the use and control of natural resources. It includes elements of introductory land economics as a discipline, economic foundations of land economics, institutional influences on land use, and the effects of public policy on land use. The overall objective is to provide the student with the framework and skills to make wise economics decisions regarding the use and the allocation of the scarce land resources of Texas, the U.S., and the world.
